Following Stanley Kubrick’s classic 2001: A Space Odyssey we’re concluding the Film Club at Home chain with another classic about alien contact, Steven Spielberg’s Close Encounters of the Third Kind.
Concluding? Did I read that right?
Yes! With the reopening of cinemas imminent and hopefully lockdown ending in June we’re now focussing on planning for the return of Tufnell Park Film Club - in person - back at The Lord Palmerston. Keep an eye on the newsletter for details.
We reveal some of our plans in the video below where you’ll also see us both enthuse about the Spielberg movie while acknowledging that a story about a man who abandons his family in search of little green men may not be to everyone’s tastes.
Enjoy our final lockdown video!
We’d love to hear what you think of the film once you’ve seen it. Leave a comment here, send us an email, Tweet us @tpfilmclub or post on our Facebook page.
Where can you watch Close Encounters of the Third Kind?
