Paul Newman stars as Donald ‘Sully’ Sullivan, sixty-year-old wastrel, whose life of of unchecked self-indulgence is disrupted by the unexpected arrival of his estranged son, Peter (Dylan Walsh) and grandchild. Suddenly forced into taking some responsibility for his actions, Sully gradually begins to reassess his life.
